Furniture surfaces that stay beautiful – cleaning and maintenance made easy!

Every piece of furniture tells its own story – and sometimes these stories don't quite go according to plan.
A spilled glass of wine on the living room table, crumbs from breakfast on the kitchen worktop, glue residue on the dining room table from the kids' craft project, or water splashes on the bathroom cabinet because their hands were sticky...
Home is where life happens – with everything that comes with it: stains, mishaps, fingerprints, dust and crumbs.

To keep your furniture surfaces looking beautiful for a long time, we have compiled the best tips for cleaning and caring for our Fundermax products.

CARE – so everything stays like new for longer!

Hot pots on the kitchen worktop, water jugs on the dining table or the bunch of keys that is quickly placed on the TV cabinet – small oversights with a big impact if you ignore them for too long. However, with the right care, your furniture surfaces will remain beautiful for a long time – here's how:

Daily care:

Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth – this will remove light dirt reliably!

Important: Avoid heat, scratches and control moisture!

  • Always place hot objects on coasters or table runners
  • Use cutting boards or protective plates
  • Do not place sharp or heavy objects directly on the surface
  • No standing water on joints or sensitive areas
  • Do not place appliances directly on sensitive furniture edges

BASIC CLEANING - Master everyday situations with ease!

We've all been there: fingerprints, water stains, crumbs, dust and so on – the little traces of everyday life.
With basic cleaning, you can quickly and easily get everyday dirt under control and then get back to enjoying the good things in life.

A – Basic cleaning

Typical cases: Dust, fingerprints, minor spills

Agent: Warm water, mild dishwashing liquid if necessary

Tool: Soft sponge or cloth

Tip: Always wipe dry to avoid water spots or streaks

B – Light staining

Typical cases: Dried coffee, jam residue, water marks

Agent: Standard household cleaner (e.g. glass cleaner)

Tip: Leave to work for a short time, then wipe clean. Repeat basic cleaning if necessary.

C – Normal staining

Typical cases: Grease residue from snacks, candle wax, food residues

Agent: 1:3 soft soap/water solution

Tip: Rinse several times, as soft soap can leave a film. Repeat basic cleaning if necessary.

SPECIAL CLEANING – when everyday life leaves more than just traces!

A stroke of marker pen on the desk after schoolwork, adhesive residue from a sticker in a scrapbook on the new shelf, or birthday candles blown out too vigorously at the kitchen table – sometimes stains need a little more attention! Don't worry – even stubborn stains such as adhesive, marker pen, resin or rubber marks don't stand a chance on our surfaces.
